We know the number of shut-downs in all sectors has lead to a loss of work for a lot of people. As always, EWAN is here to help with bills, as we are able.
Currently we are processing all requests for financial assistance over the phone. Please call our office at 630-782-6006. If it is not during our regular business hours leave a message and a volunteer will return your call between 10 am and noon, Monday-Friday.
Both the Immaculate Conception Food Pantry and the Elmhurst Yorkfield Food Pantry are currently open during their regularly scheduled hours. If you are a new client, please call the site to get registered before visiting.
To use the IC Food pantry, call the EWAN site at 630-782-6006 when you get to the church campuses. We will register your visit and notify the food pantry. Your prepackaged food bag will be placed outside the pantry door with your name on it. The pantry regrets that it cannot offer free choice at this time, but you can indicate to the volunteer taking your call any specific needs or if there are things you don't want. They will do their best to accommodate your requests. They are open Monday-Friday, 10:00 am--11:45.
The Elmhurst Yorkfield Food Pantry will serve you from your car. You are able to designate what food you'd like, and they will bring it out to your car. Please go to https://www.eyfp.org/covid-19-response for hours and registration process.
